Trash and recyclables are carried to our rivers and creeks by storm drainage, run-off, and careless human beings. Annually, the Basura Bash effort yields tons of trash and recyclables from the banks of the San Antonio River and its tributaries.
HOW:
When registering, volunteers may choose the waterway area they wish to clean. Long pants, gloves, and sleeves and closed shoes are recommended. Trash bags are provided.
Whether you are new or a long time participant, please go here to register for Basura Bash and/or get more information. You can email us or call (210) 858-8520 and leave a message and we will return your call regarding any questions or would like more information about registrating or about the event in general.
Individuals must also complete an Individual Liability Release Form and turn the form in prior to participating.
WHO:
Volunteers make this effort a success!
